Features and Condition of Obijime and Obiage Set｜Used/Recycled Obijime and Obiage Set
This is an obijime and obiage set to be worn with a tomesode kimono.
Both the obijime and obiage are 100% silk.
The obijime is a clean, crisp white with a distinct, thick golden diagonal line.
While not wide, the obijime has a gorgeous and impactful design.
The obiage has a textured pattern of diamonds woven throughout.
Above this, there is a very fine shibori pattern resembling clouds.
Since the pattern runs in both vertical and horizontal directions, the stated length and width of the obiage are slightly shorter.
When actually used, it will be lightly pulled and draped over the obi pillow, so there should be a little more leeway.
This set also includes a ceremonial fan (suehiro), essential for formal Japanese attire, and
a kamefusa, which we highly recommend for the mothers of the bride and groom.
The kamefusa is an auspicious motif that adds a touch of elegance to celebratory occasions.
Pass it through the obijime and hang it on the left side.
Although new old stock, the obiage has some stains. It is perfectly usable, but please check before purchasing.
