Features and Condition of Obijime and Obiage Set｜New Obijime and Obiage Set
This is an obijime and obiage set to be worn with tomesode.
Both the obijime and obiage are a slightly creamy white (milky white) (refer to "Teihon Wairo Jiten") and made of 100% silk.
The obijime features an arrow feather design.
Gold threads are incorporated into both sides and the center, making it very elegant.
The obiage uses a fine shibori technique throughout, giving it an elegant impression.
Although the listed width is shorter compared to other products, when actually worn, the shibori part will be slightly stretched over the obi-makura, so it should become a bit wider.
This set also includes a formal ceremonial fan (suehiro), essential for formal Japanese attire,
and a Kamefusa (turtle tassel), which we highly recommend for mothers of the bride and groom.
The Kamefusa is an auspicious motif that adds a touch of splendor to celebratory occasions.
Please pass it through the obijime and let it hang on the left side.
Perhaps because the suehiro was set in an open state, it doesn't close perfectly.
Other than that, it is in like-new condition with no stains or dirt, and is perfectly usable.
