Nagoya Obi Features and Condition | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for semi-formal coordinates.
It is a very elegant item with a bright peach beige as the main color, and a gradation of beige and pale gold.
The subtle gradation in the background pattern is a horizontal stripe, with a woven motif of wildflowers, primarily bush clover.
The pattern covers six areas (rokutsu), and it is a Nagoya-style tailoring with a moderate crispness.
Please coordinate it with iromuji (solid-colored kimono), komon (small-patterned kimono), tsumugi (pongee silk), or lightweight tsukesage (patterned kimono).
There is one small scuff-like stain on the plain middle section,
and a slight fold/crease from the taiko (drum knot) pattern down to the tare (hanging end).
Also, there is a reinforcing fabric on the lining of the triangular part above the taiko pattern.
While this does not affect wear, it is an unusual condition, so please check the photos before purchasing.
Other than that, no noticeable stains or dirt are found, and it is perfectly wearable as a recycled item.
