Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a Shioze Nagoya Obi, perfect for casual occasions.
It features a wonderful design with crabs and flowing water patterns drawn in sumi ink on a faintly cream-colored white (milky white) ground (refer to Teihon Wano Iro Jiten for color reference).
With a clean black and white color scheme, it can be paired with a wide range of kimono colors.
This is a point-patterned obi, with one side of the front featuring a single flowing water line.
The opposite side has no pattern, making it ideal for enjoying color play with obijime and obidome.
By changing the way it's tied, you can enjoy different atmospheres.
It is tailored in the Nagoya style and has a smooth and soft texture.
Please note that at over 380 cm, it is longer than a typical Nagoya obi.
Please enjoy pairing it with Iromuji, Komon, and Tsumugi kimonos.
There is a faint brown stain on the right bottom side of the taiko pattern on the outer fabric.
It blends in with the ground color and is not very noticeable, but please confirm it in the photos before purchasing.
Other than that, the item is in generally good condition, with no noticeable stains or dirt, and can be sufficiently used as a recycled product.
The overall photo shows the closest color, but it may vary slightly depending on your device.
