Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used/Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a Shioze Nagoya Obi recommended for semi-formal coordination.
A stylish item with a sarasa pattern in squares on a bright reddish-brown (kabairo) background (*refer to Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten).
The patterns that are placed as accents are the same design on both the Otaiko and Mae-hara sections. The Otaiko pattern also features subtle kinkoma embroidery.
This Nagoya Obi is made longer than usual, and since it has an accent pattern, the pattern might not be displayed well for petite customers.
It is made of shioze fabric with an open finish.
Since the width can be adjusted to match your height, it is also recommended for taller individuals.
Since shioze fabric tends to retain wrinkles, the open finish is a big plus!
Please wear it coordinated with Iromuji, Komon, Tsumugi, or light Tsukesage kimonos.
Although it is unavoidable due to the characteristics of shioze, there are prominent storage creases remaining from folding.
Other than that, the condition is good, and it is perfectly wearable as a recycled item.
