Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used/Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for casual occasions.
It's a lovely item with a slightly retro feel, featuring a classic pattern stenciled in a circle on a bright citron green (koen-shoku) background (refer to "Teihon Iro no Jiten").
The design is a point pattern, with the same design appearing on both the otaiko (back knot) and the front abdomen section.
Made of chirimen fabric with Nagoya tailoring.
Although a soft core is used, it is not so flimsy as to be difficult to handle.
Please coordinate it with iromuji (solid-color kimono), komon (small-patterned kimono), tsumugi (pongee kimono), etc.
The outer fabric has faint stains throughout.
Particularly in the otaiko pattern area, there are stains on top of the pattern, but since they are thin yellowish-brown stains on a pale cream background, I don't think they are very noticeable at first glance.
However, perceptions vary from person to person, so please check the photos before purchasing.
As a recycled item, it is in perfectly usable condition.
The overall photo shows the closest color, but it may differ slightly depending on your device.
