Characteristics and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for casual occasions.
It's a Bingata-style item featuring a brightly eye-catching mustard-like color (Ki-kuchinashi-iro) (*refer to Teihon Nihon no Iro Jiten) with a design of various birds and plants in colorful hues.
It's an item with a mysterious charm, colorful yet possessing a somewhat subdued atmosphere.
The pattern extends fully across the obi (zen-tsu), and it is a Nagoya仕立て (Nagoya-style tailoring).
It has a soft and supple feel, to the point where one might wonder if there's an obi core inside.
It might not be recommended for those who prefer a crisply-tied obi look.
Please coordinate it with iromuji, komon, tsumugi, etc.
There is a small black stain on the triangular part just before the taiko pattern, scuff marks on the back of the taiko, and slight wrinkles on the lining of the taiko back.
These areas are not noticeable when worn, but please confirm with the photos before purchasing.
Aside from these, the overall condition is good, and it is perfectly usable as a recycled item.
