Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for casual occasions.
This item features an impressive design of gracefully extending white flowers on a base of subdued vermilion (Koi-momiji-iro, or deep autumnal leaf color) (*refer to the definitive Japanese color dictionary).
The patterned accents are flower designs on both the otaiko (drum knot) and maebara (front abdominal) sections.
It is made of Shioze silk in a Nagoya-style tailoring. The pattern on the otaiko section is also slightly wider, making it an easy-to-tie design despite being a point pattern.
Please coordinate and wear it with iromuji (solid-colored kimonos) or komon (kimonos with small, repeated patterns).
Although it is unavoidable due to the characteristics of Shioze silk, there are noticeable fold creases from storage.
Additionally, there is a small stain-like mark at the end of the front surface's tesaki (hand-end), but it is still perfectly wearable as a recycled item.
The overall photograph provides the closest representation of the color, but it may vary slightly depending on your device.
