Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a Kyobukuro obi recommended for casual occasions.
This item features a bright ocher (brownish yellow (kicha-iro)) (※refer to Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten) ground, with grape arabesque patterns woven in dark brown and bird patterns in pale beige.
Since there are few colors and they are all in the same color family, it gives a clean impression.
The reverse side has a brown-based stripe pattern.
You can also use this side as a reversible obi.
The characters "Mihosugata" are woven into the inner part of the tare-saki (end of the hanging part).
Both sides of the pattern are Zen-tsu (full-pattern), and since it's a Kyobukuro obi, it has an open tailoring.
It can be used in the same way as a Fukuro obi, and the width can be adjusted to your liking, making it recommended for tall individuals.
Enjoy coordinating it with iromuji (solid-color kimonos), komon (small-patterned kimonos), and more.
The fabric has some looseness overall, and there are small ocher-colored spots, like stains or color transfer, on the ends of the tesaki (front end) and tare-saki (back end) on the striped side.
Other than that, no noticeable stains or dirt are found, and it is perfectly wearable as a recycled item.
