Nagoya Obi Features and Condition | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for casual occasions.
It features a stylish design with a vibrant Ryukyu Bingata pattern on a reddish-purple (mokuran-iro, as per the definitive dictionary of Japanese colors) ground.
The patterned sections create vertical lines, giving it a neat impression.
The left side has a dense pattern of many flowers and baskets, while the right side has a charming atmosphere with small patterns enclosed within white lines.
Since the left and right sides have different impressions, you can significantly change the look of the stomach area by altering how you tie it.
The pattern extends throughout the entire length, and it is a Nagoya-style finish.
It doesn't seem to be too soft and difficult to handle.
Please enjoy coordinating it with kimonos such as iromuji, komon, and tsumugi.
There are some wrinkles at the hand-tip section.
Otherwise, the overall condition is very good, making it perfectly wearable as a recycled item.
