Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used/Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for semi-formal coordinates.
This item bears the signature of dyeing and weaving artist Fumiko Tanaka on the back of the tare (dangling end), and the name "Kinryo Soka Mon" (Brocade, Refreshing Flower Pattern).
The ground, which is a deep greenish-gray (tetsunezumi-iro - iron mouse color) (※refer to Teibon Wa no Iroziten) with gold threads woven through it, is very glamorous.
The vermillion flowers, resembling camellias, have a strong presence.
The pattern is Rokutsu (patterned on six parts), and the part that covers the front abdomen has slightly smaller flowers, with the direction of the pattern also changed.
Since it is a Matsuba-jitate (pine needle style tailoring), it is possible to slightly adjust the width to match your height.
The pattern on the front abdomen is also long, making it easy for kimono beginners to handle.
Please enjoy pairing it with a tsukesage or iromuji kimono.
There are fold marks on the outer fabric, from the te-saki (hand end) to the nakamuji (unpatterned middle part).
Also, there are several instances of double-folded fabric near the front abdomen part of the lining.
Other than that, there are no noticeable stains or dirt, and it is a perfectly usable item as a recycled product.
The color is most accurately represented in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on your device.
