This Nagoya obi is recommended for casual occasions.
This item is marked as "Traditional Craft by Hijikata."
The ground color is a deep orange (persimmon brown) (※refer to the definitive "Japanese Color Dictionary").
This is a very stylish Nagoya obi, created using only two colors: the ground color and white for the pattern.
It's a stencil-dyed obi with a main motif of autumn leaves, interspersed with patterns of flowers and landscapes from all four seasons.
Tailored in the Nagoya style, the rough texture of the Tsumugi fabric is also wonderful. The pattern is applied to six panels, making it an easy-to-handle obi even for beginners.
Please enjoy coordinating it with kimonos such as Komon or Tsumugi.
There are wrinkles on the hand-tip section of the outer fabric. Also, there are stains on the white autumn leaf pattern from about 150cm to 200cm from the hand-tip. Due to the simple color scheme, these may be noticeable, so please check the photos carefully before purchasing.
Other than that, the overall condition is good, and it is a perfectly usable item as a recycled product.
