Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used/Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for semi-formal coordinates.
The base color is off-white (refer to Teihon Nihon no Iro Jiten), but the otaiko (drum knot), tare-saki (ends), and mae-bara (front part) feature a glamorous design with abundant use of silver threads.
There are scattered patterns, with golden snow-ring patterns and floral designs on both the otaiko and mae-bara sections. Some flowers are embroidered.
Enjoy coordinating it with light tsukesage, iromuji (solid-colored kimono), or komon (small-patterned kimono).
Although it is a point-patterned obi, I think it requires a little more skill in dressing because the silver thread base and off-white base sections of the otaiko and mae-bara are clearly color-separated.
The otaiko pattern section has a decent length of silver thread base, but the mae-bara silver thread base is only about 40 cm. If you're not careful, the plain white part might be clearly visible when viewed from the front.
There are faint stains on the tesaki (hand part) of the outer fabric. Also, there are wrinkles around the mae-bara section.
Other than that, there are no noticeable stains or dirt, making it a perfectly usable item as a recycled product.
The overall photograph shows the color most accurately, but there may be slight differences depending on your device.
