Features and Condition of the Hanhaba Obi | New Hanhaba Obi
This is a hanhaba obi made of polyester, recommended for casual coordination.
Both sides of this item are fully patterned, making it reversible.
One side features a geometric pattern in a deep, subdued yellow (kokuboshoku, or defense color) (refer to Teihon Wa no Iroziten). Woven with a light ecru color, the pattern also resembles flowers.
The faint background color is a dark greige.
The other side is a strong reddish brick color (shuan'iro, or vermillion) (refer to Teihon Wa no Iroziten). The abstract floral pattern from the opposite side is incorporated into the center, creating a very clean design.
Both sides have easy-to-use designs, and the use of the same pattern creates a lovely sense of unity.
Since the material is polyester, I think it will be easy to use without worrying too much about getting it dirty, even during summer festivals or casual dining occasions.
Although new, there is a weaving flaw about a palm's width from the tag-bearing end.
Some people might find it slightly noticeable depending on how it's tied.
