Features and Condition of the Hanhaba Obi | New Hanhaba Obi
This is a polyester hanhaba obi recommended for casual outfits.
Both sides of this item feature continuous patterns, making it reversible.
One side, in a yellow (Kisuise niro, daffodil yellow) color (refer to the Teihon Wairo Jiten for color names), has a base of fine horizontal stripes.
Small Ichimatsu (checkerboard) patterns and diamond-shaped patterns are arranged sequentially.
The use of yellow and a pale cream color gives it a clean and soft impression.
The other side is a single color of slightly grayish white (Unohana iro, deutzia flower color) (refer to the Teihon Wairo Jiten for color names).
It features a repeating pattern of abstract flowers woven within small diamond shapes.
Both sides have a clean impression and use light color combinations.
Obidome (obi clips) and obijime (obi sashes) used as decorations would stand out beautifully.
Since the material is polyester, it's easy to use without worrying too much about getting it dirty, even at summer festivals or casual dinners.
Being new, it also makes a great gift!
