This product is a bag-shaped obi recommended for semi-formal occasions.
The green (Rikanchairo) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) background is woven with arabesque patterns and floral motifs, creating a clean, mature atmosphere.
The whitish thread parts and the dark purple thread parts are velvet.
The velvet obi belt is made using a technique in which wire or very thick thread is woven into the warp threads to create a mohair pattern, which is then pulled out one by one after weaving to make the pattern stand out.
The pattern of the woven obi has a plump, three-dimensional finish, so it looks great when paired with a kimono.
Please wear it with a formal kimono, a tsukesage kimono, or a plain-colored kimono.
The obi has a slightly rough texture and is not as heavy as it looks.
There are no visible stains or dirt, and the item is in perfect condition for reuse.
