This is an unstitched fukuro obi featuring gentle colors and a neat pattern.
The base color is a strong yellowish beige. The luster of the silk threads is beautiful.
Within diamond shapes outlined in white thread, patterns resembling flower crests are woven in violet, white, moss green, and grey.
This very versatile obi can be worn not only with formal kimonos such as houmongi and tsukesage, but also with stylish kimonos like komon, tsumugi, and iromuji.
Furthermore, it can be coordinated not only with lined kimonos (awase) but also with unlined kimonos (hitoe).
You can choose from a wide range of kimono colors to match.
With dark colors such as navy, black, or dark brown, it will create a crisp, clean coordination.
Paired with light-colored kimonos such as pink, mint green, or white, it seems it would result in a gentle and elegant coordination.
Please note that yellow tones might result in a slightly dull finish.
The obi itself is very supple and has a soft feel, making it seem easy to tie.
The stated dimensions are for the obi in its untailored state.
