Nagoya Obi Features and Condition | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for casual occasions.
A lovely item with colorful patterns on a slightly creamy white (milky white) ground (refer to Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten for details).
The design is very vibrant with botanical motifs and birds, and the tare-saki (tip of the hanging part) is a plain bright salmon pink.
It is a Nagoya-style tailoring with soft fabric and obi core. It has a relatively soft and pliable feel.
We recommend coordinating it with a simple kimono to make the obi the star of the outfit.
Please enjoy pairing it with iromuji (solid-colored kimonos), komon (small-patterned kimonos), and tsumugi (pongee kimonos).
There are several wrinkles on the surface fabric, and two navy-colored stains from the chu-muji (mid-plain section) to the patterned part of the mae-hara (front stomach area). Please check the photos before purchasing.
Other than that, the condition is good, with no noticeable stains or dirt, making it perfectly wearable as a recycled item.
The colors in the overall photo are the closest to the actual item, but may vary slightly depending on your device.
