Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for casual occasions.
The main ground color is a pale, slightly greenish light blue (Seihakuji-iro, celadon blue) (※refer to Teihon Nihon no Iro Jiten).
It's a striking item featuring fan shapes and various flowers stencil-dyed in vivid, colorful hues.
The tare-saki (hanging end) is a muted vermillion, the same color as part of the fan pattern.
The pattern extends throughout the entire obi (zen-tsu), and it is tailored in the Nagoya style.
Although it is a chirimen fabric obi, a relatively firm core is used, so it should not be difficult to handle.
Please enjoy coordinating it with kimonos such as iromuji, komon, and tsumugi.
There are a few folding creases on the surface fabric, but overall, it is in very good condition, with no visible stains or dirt, making it perfectly wearable as a pre-owned item.
The overall photograph provides the closest representation of the colors, but they may vary slightly depending on your device.
